How to Use Smudge Sticks

3. Smudging
   Hold the smudge stick over a smudge bowl and allow the smoke to gently flow through the space. Many people choose to move slowly around a room or focus on a specific area.

4. Extinguishing
   Once finished, carefully press the smudge stick into sand or the base of the bowl until fully extinguished. Never leave burning materials unattended.
